Hey, readers!
Oh how I've missed this blog. Starting a job has been insane! I love it, and it's part-time, but on top of regular life, it's very time-consuming... But more money, so no issues there!!!
Okay, so let's get to the review! Today's book is Royally Lost by Angie Stanton.
Summary: "Dragged on a family trip to Europe’s ancient cities, Becca wants nothing more than to go home. Trapped with her emotionally distant father, over-eager stepmother, and a brother who only wants to hook up with European hotties, Becca is miserable. That is until she meets Nikolai, a guy as mysterious as he is handsome. And she unknowingly finds herself with a runaway prince.
Nikolai has everything a guy could ask for-he's crown prince, heir to the throne, and girls adore him. But the one thing he doesn't have...is freedom. Staging a coup, he flees his kingdom and goes undercover on his own European tour.
When Nikolai and Becca meet, it’s their differences that draw them together. Sparks fly as they share a whirlwind of adventures, all the while dodging his royal guard. But Becca's family vacation ends in a matter of days. Will Nikolai and Becca be forced to say goodbye forever, will his destiny catch up to him, or will they change history forever?" (Thank you so much, Goodreads!)
I loved this novel! As a shy girl, I could relate to Becca. Meeting a cute guy -- let alone a PRINCE! -- on vacation took her by surprise just as much as it would me! However, she eases into the situation as much as she can. She's strong though, not this wimpy girl who swoons at every turn, or cannot take care of herself. It's awesome!
Then take the story; so many people have done this kind of idea, but it's always campy. This novel definitely isn't! This is a truthfully great novel! It's very convincing, relatable, fun, and believable! The story takes some twists and turns, and it also is a story of family as much as adventure.
It's a great novel; I was super impressed; and I can't wait to reread it again and again!
This is definitely this summer's classic! I name this The Ultimate Summer Novel so far in 2014...
In Conclusion: Read, read, read! I recommend laying on a towel or chair, toes in the sand, and ocean waves lulling you into a trance as you read this novel. Or, be on the deck of a cruise ship, letting the sun hit you (or just relaxing in the lobby chair after a swim) while you read this! It's seriously a great summer vacation read!!!

"The Prince with Amnesia" (A Hokey Little Lexi Review)
Loves,
I'm running out of content! lol. Okay, not nearly, but between helping those in my house and then looking for a career, blogging seems to be difficult. However, that's just for now. I'll just need to establish somewhat of a plan for each day, you know?
Summary: Okay, so The Prince with Amnesia by Emily Evans... A prince is volunteered to be on a dating show by his uppity grandmother (the Queen). When he is treated for a concussion, and for amnesia, his mom takes him to the U.S. to where she was from. There, he finds love. But will it last?
Review: Truthfully, this novel is kind of hokey, cheesy, but this is actually not that bad. The storyline and characters are very interesting. There are twists and turns, but not too many to leave you lost. It's very easy to follow. It's also easy to get lost in the story and have the prince falling for you.
The creativity of this story is great. I love how it encaptures something that sounds real enough to happen. It'll put you in a tizzy over trying to find a prince of your own with amnesia! I know that I was hoping for Andrea Casiraghi (Prince Albert of Monaco's nephew) (pics below) was randomly find his way to me during and after this novel, lol! It was just too much fun to read this one, so why not give some light whimsy into your life.
