"The Goddess Test" (An Enchanted Ashley Review)

Hello out there in reader land!!!

Today I am going to be reviewing "The Goddess Test" by Aimee Carter. This is the first book in the series and all I have to say is what a way to start this amazing series. I started reading this book, because I have a love of Greek mythology. Plus, the cover and description really caught my inner Greek Goddess....

Here is the summary thanks to Goodreads.....
"Every girl who had taken the test has died. Now it's Kate's turn. It's always been just Kate and her mom - and her mother is dying. Her last wish? To move back to her childhood home. So Kate's going to start at a new school with no friends, no other family and the fear that her mother won't live past the fall. Then she meets Henry. Dark. Tortured. And mesmerizing. He claims to be Hades, god of the Underworld - and if she accepts his bargain, he'll keep her mother alive while Kate tries to pass seven tests.Kate is sure he's crazy - until she sees him bring a girl back from the dead. Now saving her mother seems crazily possible. If she succeeds, she'll become Henry's future bride and a goddess.
If she fails..."

All Kate Winters wants to do is spend the days with her mom and pray she can overcome her illness. When her mom's last wish is to move back to her childhood home, Kate leaves everything she knows behind to make her mom happy. When she goes to her new school she meets Henry, who eventually claims he is the God Hades and he makes her a deal. He will save her mother's life, if Kate comes down to live with him. When she winds up in Henry's world, she discovers secrets that were kept from her and threaten to throw her normal world into turmoil. Will she overcome the secrets and love Henry to save her mom or will the truth be too much and Kate loses everything she loves forever?

If you are a lover of Greek mythology, than this series will not disappoint you. You get to meet a wide range of characters and Gods, but I won't give anything away, because this book has a lot of twists and turns that you don't see coming. This is a book with love and adventure that will not disappoint a reader's love for Greek mythology.

Rating: 4/5 drawings of Kate and Henry......
