"Hush" (A heartfelt Ashley Review)

Hello fellow readers!!!

Today I have a different kind of story for yall. "Hush" by Micalea Smeltzer, is a heartfelt, emotional ride through a crazy romance. This book made me laugh, cry, mad, and shocked all while reading this amazing book. I know some might be leery of a book that puts you through a lot of emotions all at once, but this book gives you those emotions in a good way. This book is so awesome that you will want to read it again and again.

Here is the summary pulled straight from Goodreads.....
"Siva and Sloane. Two unlikely people brought together by a tragedy. He’s moody and dark. She’s pleasant and light. But there is an undeniable attraction between the two despite the many obstacles that stand in their way. Sloane Campbell is an American, living in London as a reporter for a celebrity newspaper, with her boyfriend Devak. Sloane believes she loves Dev. But when he dies and she meets his older brother, Siva, for the first time she begins to find out what true love is. True love is the kind that scares you, hurts you, and messes with your mind. True love is when you will take a bullet to save the other person. Siva Kapur is an angry, spiteful, moody, arrogant, businessman until the day he meets Sloane. He can’t get her off his mind. He tracks her down, rescuing her from his jerk of a father who has just given her an eviction notice, and proposes that she live with him for the time being… Or until he can convince her that true love lies with him. He may even take a bullet for it"

Sloane is dealing with the death of her boyfriend and being kicked out of the only home she has ever known. She doesn't know what she is going to do until a tall, dark, sexy man, who happens to be the brother of her deceased boyfriend, knocks on her door and offers her a proposition she can't refuse. Siva doesn't believe that he is good enough or even should be making moves on his brother's girlfriend, but he can't seem to help the feelings that he feels for her. They go through so much together that I can't really go into, because it will give this amazing story away too much. All I can say is this book will throw you through a gantlet of emotions and you won't want to put it down once you start it.

Please give this book a chance and I promise you won't be disappointed at all. You may even walk away with a new sense of wanting in a relationship after reading this book. Please give it a try and if you don't find yourself drawn into it than you can stop reading it, but hey at least you didn't just turn away immediately and you tried. That is all I can ask.

Rating: 5/5 star crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet....
