"Smokless Fire" (An Ashley Review)

Hey Everyone!!!!

Has you can tell I am still alive, Lexi hasn't killed me for reading 50 Shades of Grey yet lol, which I hate to say is actually pretty funny in some parts. I am going to be reviewing an awesome book today...."Smokeless Fire" is an awesome fantasy novel. It's about genies, magic, and forbidden love. This book not only drew me in with the cover, but the entire story line grips you and pulls you into this amazing plot. Unlike other books, the one's that follow this book are even more adventurous  and are even better than the one before it. Plus this cover is absolutely breath-taking.....

Here is a summary of this amazing book taken from Goodreads.....
"When eighteen year old Ari Johnson is transported from her bedroom into the chilling realm of Mount Qaf - home to the terrifying and mercurial Jinn - she learns a truth that rocks her very world. Suddenly her anxiety over college and her broken friendship with Charlie seem like small change compared to the war she now finds herself stuck in the middle of. Her unease isn’t lessened any by the hot guardian, Jai, who won’t stop following her around everywhere - a Jinn whose loyalty Ari hates to question but must. She has no idea who she can trust. When the truth burns through her life in its determination to turn it to ashes, Ari will have to battle with ancient deadly creatures, epic family drama and heart-wrenching romantic entanglements."

Ari believes that she is a normal teenage girl, until she is attacked and saved by this mysterious, good-looking guy. She learns that she is a Jinn and he is here to protect her from any harm that may come to her. But it's bad when the one guy that she feels a huge attraction to, doesn't feel the same for her, but his actions speak differently. Then to top it all off, we have her best friend, Charlie, who after screwing up their friendship, finally figures out that he is in love with Ari, and now he wants to get her back. Ari is thrown through a whirl wind of emotions and near death experiences. Will she be able to come into her powers or will she be destined to be sought out forever?

This book draws you in so much that I found myself staying up late into the night to finish it and couldn't wait for the next book to come out. If your like me and want to read a refreshing supernatural book, that doesn't include werewolves or vampires, than you need to give this book series a chance. I guarantee you will not be disappointed, because with this book you can't figure out what is going to happen next and when you think you know, Samantha Young throws you through another loop that you won't see coming. I fell in love with this series and can't wait to see how it ends.

Rating: I give this book 5/5 Barbra Eden as Jennie, because she was the best....
