Summary time, than I will tell you why I didn't like this book..sorry but I am brutly honest.....
"Gonna have to face it: Jody's addicted to Jackson Gatlin, frontman of The Regulators. And after her best bud Mac scores tickets, she's front and center at their sold out concert. But when she gets mashed in the mosh pit and bodysurfs backstage, she's got more than a mild concussion to deal with. By the next morning, the strung-out rock star is coming down in her garage. Jody-oops- kind of kidnapped him. By accident. And now he doesn't want to leave. It's a rock-star abduction worthy of an MTV series...but who got punk'd."
Jody is addicted to Jackson Gatlin and thinks she is in love with him. When they say addicted they are not kidding. The thing that turned me off instantly about this book is how freaking obsessed she was. Ya we have all gone through those fazes with famous people, don't lie everyone does, but the way C.J. wrote Jody's character came off as seriel killer crazy. Jody belongs in a mental institution instead of the real world. She is also so whinny that you wish she was real so you could just slap her and tell her she is the world's biggest, stalker, and she needs a life. Jackson is a druggy butthole that treats everyone like crap at first than all of a sudden he is cured, except he believes his band manager is going to kill him. He is so paronid that you can't fall in love with this character and you can't even begin to like him. This book could have been better if the author would have toned down the crazy, stalker, seriel killer vibe and had Jody acting like a regular girl thinking she was in love with a famous person. This book is not worth the money or brain cells that you will waste while reading this book. Sorry, but it is the truth and I don't want someone wasting their money on this book.
Till next time,
